There was a mefi with the username hotdonutsnow and everyone thought it was pronounced hot donut snow. Obviously those people had never been to a Krispy Kreme! There was also a mefi named Urine Soaked Rube. Which was pronounced exactly like you would think. I just like saying Urine Soaked Rube.

I actually called her "croutons up a freak" as a joke at the meetup, but I didn't know it would annoy her so much.

I got a huge kick out of this little story.

I always mentally say "sheerious," like "serious" with a lisp, or sometimes "shurrious," like "serious" with a lisp and a funny accent, but I do know that I'm not saying it correctly.
