I've come to care more about what happens in the Wire than what happens in my real life. (spoiler warning)[More:]Last night's episode was so good.

How for real is Carcetti?! OMGWTFBBQ. My choice for police commissioner is Duquan. He's a long shot, I know, but I like an underdog.

And how cool was it when they played the Pogues, "The Body of an American" during the Irish wake for Colonel Foerster? I sang along. They zoomed in on McNulty as he sang along with the chorus line, "I'm a free born man of the USA!"

I haven't watched this season at all, mullacc. We're probably going to devour it all in one sitting via On Demand.

It lost me last season, but I hear this one was really good.
