Anderson Cooper live from a garbage can. I don't watch CNN so I don't know what he's like these days but I thought he was the best reality TV host evah during his stint on The Mole (before they did that celebrity mole bullsheet, that is.)
I like Cooper, he seems to be one of the very few TV journalists who actually understand what the hell they're reading. and in his eyes you kind of detect a glimmer of humanity, another rare quality in his line of business
and I watched him once insist, well, forcefully, with some asshole guest, that the gays are, the horror, citizens just like straight people are. apparently, a courageous stance in the current "fair and balanced", "shape of the earth; views differ" journalistic climate
hey man don't knock the celebrity mole. There was some prime entertainment going on, what with that one Baldwin and Kathy Griffin and some other people...
Yeah, and he convinced them to bet their prize money that they had just earlier won in a challenge where they had to pour wine without spilling a drop, but it was kind of a trick question cuz it's pretty hard to do that even when you're sober. And then they had to go back to the rest of the group and convince them to finish a bottle of their wine without telling them they had just made it with their feet.
Nothing beats the ep near the end of that season where the guy had to spend the night in the house that kept playing "Tiny Bubbles" over and over at different tempos... that had me rolling on the ground laughing.
