Frinton sunset →[More:]I do not know how to take pictures at night, so some of these are a bit blurry. And I had no tripod, so where I could I leaned the camera on the sea wall.

It was a magical sunset.

Hey, those are good. I remember very little about Frinton from when I was growing up, but the beach hut brought back a couple of vague memories.

I was talking to my mum about Frinton and your story about the gates being a big local issue, and she said she wasn't surprised. Apparently, when Frinton was a new town, it was completely dry, although Wikipedia seems to suggest otherwise - maybe it was the pub thing that's confusing things.

Luckily there were a few news agents - I apparently used to persuade my grandma on a regular basis that she needed to walk me down the road to buy sweets :)
