Bunnies, hope me! Rental map mash-up thang? →[More:]I swear I went to a site in the past two weeks which was some sort of google maps mashup, where you could type in your address and how much you rent, and the map would go to its thinking place and come back to tell you how your rent compared to other rentals in the area.

I think I saw it on Metafilter, but I can't find it, then I thought maybe it was on Lifehacker, and no soap.

Anyone else remember this? It was a really cool map.

I remember seeing it for the cost of buildings to purchase, but not for rent. (If there was one for renters, differences in rental price per unit within a building would be difficult to do I imagine, though one with averages would still be nice). I wish I had that link as well. The 'housing market' one was definitely on mefi. Sadly, it's not in my favorites. (May be pre-Favs?)

Then one I saw was definitely for rentals, because I put my own apartment address in and saw that I pay less than the average for my area (the benefits of living in one place for 20 years, I guess).

I have a friend who wants to rent his house in Emeryville, and wanted to know the going rate. I thought "A ha! That great web site I went to!" But now I can't find it. :(

I guess I can dig in my browser history and try to figure it out that way. If I find it, I'll post it.
