I've got a MySpace account specifically because it's the easiest way to keep track of the bands I'm into. I swear it's responsible for the insane amounts of spam I'm getting recently. I'm always on the verge of deleting the account, but then I'd lose track of "my" artists and I couldn't have that.
I love the way I could actually hear Rupert Murdoch's eye twitch when I read that article. This is going to be a fun pastime for the next few years -- following the high school kids around from one Internet fad to the next, as corporations and VCs fall all over each other to spend money on them.
