That turned out really good sci! I don't know who has the picture of my Pee Wee Herman costume but its around....It was pretty creepy or so I was told.
We went to a party last night under protest, and it was pretty bad. Costumes were from The Warriors. The Husband looked pretty great as a baseball fury, I just wore overalls, a striped shirt, and roller skates. The people who got it liked it. Sciuris, niiiiice costume!
TPS, you look great!!!! Has anyone ever told you you look like a gorgeous mix of Judy Garland and Marisa Tomei?
This year I plan on being a pirate. I have a skirt with an uneven hem, a bustier, off the shoulder shirt, fish nets, and boots. I love Halloween!!
One year I used the previous year's bridesmaids dress, made a sash that said "Miss Behavin", wore a tiara, and went as a pagent winner. I wish I could get my kids into homemade costumes, but all they want is store made.
Due to the Dracula link, the whole town is invaded on the Halloween weekend by Goths, Victorians and photographers. It seemed quieter this year, but much fun was had by all.
I went as Louis Pasteur. My guy went as Louis Braille (Home Movies, anyone?). No one really got it, but I got to chug beer out of a milk bottle, so that was cool.
I was retired luchador El Santo--silver wrestling mask, badly-fitting, cheap-looking jacket and slacks. I don't think anyone got it, though. My wife was a Sim--normal clothing, but an illuminated green diamond over her head. Again, the effect was mostly lost on the audience. Pretty much a repeat of last year--we spent hours making Strongbad and Borf masks, to the delight of, like, three people.
