I Love Being Wrong.→[More:]
I love being wrong about new places.
I love being wrong about people who don't believe in the things I do.
I love being wrong about what I can do in the world.
I always imagine and prepare for the worst (I'm about to buy an axe for my kitchen. Why? So in case there was ever a fire in my front room, I would be able to break down the back door or wall between my apartment and the storage area for the people upstairs, so I could escape). I'm glad what I generally prepare for doesn't happen.
I love being wrong about how long a project will take. I'm usually pretty accurate, and most of the rest of the time I overestimate, which leaves me unexpected free time. And on the rare occasion when I underestimate (which was... all of this week until today), I get a rather nice surge of adrenaline as I think "OMFG HOW AM I GOING TO FINISH THIS ALL ON TIME????" that keeps me from being completely bored.
I love being wrong when a situation makes me think that people will be general douchebags, and then someone rises about the unmitigated douchebaggery that colours most modern interpersonal transactions. Like when a contractor steps up and actually volunteers to fix something they might get away with not fixing. I love that. Makes me unreasonably happy.
