In Ohio it's geese that are dominant as lawn/porch ornaments, not flamingos. And you can buy clothes for them, lots and lots of clothes.

A friend was given one as a moving-in gift by a neighbour, and later found out from another neighbour that she'd been gossipped about because her goose remained naked, despite different holiday/football seasons for which numerous changes of costume were available.

I got one for highchool graduation. 20 years later, it's stuffed with multi-colored Christmas lights, and hanging proudly in my window.
