So, I took these pictures of the Egg Cuber and they ended up posted in a couple of places, including Fark. Today I got a message from a reporter in S. Korea asking permission to print them in the dongA libo. What a weird world we live in.

How odd + cool, me3.

I vaguely remember reading a love story about two people who bonded over an egg cuber.

Was it The Dogs of Babel? Does anyone else remember? This will bug me.

Egg Cuber. Pheh. Show me an Egg Mobius Stripper then I'll be impressed.

(also, someone should put together a burlesque troupe of beautiful zoftig scientists and engineers and call it The Mobius Strippers. Make it so.)

This reminds me of the inventor dad in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the book, not the movie) who invented little boxes for potatoes to grow in.

last chicago meet-up, i shouted out a mefi who knows my boyfriend, but whom i've never met and probably never saw the shout-out and likely doesn't know any of my internet names.

yesterday, in a friend's livejournal (yes, i know), said mefi i've never met pointed to your square egg post.

it was a small slice of small world.
