It ain't going to get done, dammit. And that's what I'm going to say. "Look, I'm sorry, but it's just not happening today. I know it's a bit of an inconvenience for you, but I'm going to have get it to you tomorrow. Anything I send you today will be crap."

That's okay, right?

Sure. Most editors build some wiggle room into their deadlines anyway. (Well, the smart ones do.)

But I do hope you get it done soon, just because the whole thing seems to be stressing you out.

take it easy. If you stress you will not get it done, puppy. ummm, go to the movies, or meet friends for a couple of hours to take your mind off it.

They will be fine with a day's delay. I hate deadlines.
