Darn, I always miss Photo Friday now because I can't access Metachat (or Flickr, for that matter) during the day at work. Can the thread be posted early on Friday so I can contribute?

amro, there is nothing to stop you starting the thread yourself, as far as I am aware.

When you say "your hometown", do you mean where you were born/grew up or where you live. I know that often you 'mericans view the place you grew up as your hometown, no matter that you haven't been there for most of your life.

Either one, dg - whatever works for you. And yes, amro, please by all means - start the thread as soon as you like. This is a collab thing...anyone can pick a theme or start the ball rolling.

Any photo, ufez - BP's right. No time frame. BP - post your RV! That's a home away from home... ;)

I recommend always interpreting all themes as creatively as you like. It adds to the fun.

Maybe midnight Thursday, or the wee hours? taz is ahead of most of us time-wise in Greece and might help.

Gah! I will have to go out on Friday to take the damn pictures before I can post them.

But the good thing about this is that I won't still be sitting at the computer in my jim-jams at 3pm as is the norm on a work-from-home Friday.
