We had our first accumulation of snow for the year today, and after work tonight I took Silver out to play in it. Kind of crappy shots, but I had to document his first snow.
I'm normally not very fond of the Blue Merle colouring, but for Silver I'll make an exception. I guess it's just the way it came out on him, because he is a gorgeous dog.
dobbs, Silver is just 6 months old, and he has some growing yet to do. He's weighing in at about 40 pounds right now, and the people I got him from think he'll end up around 60 or so. I've lived here in the front range of Colorado for 12 years now. It's not exactly the snowiest climate, but we do get some just the same. The snow here on the front range is like the perfect house guest: they're wonderful when they arrive, and they don't out stay their welcome.
Thanks deborah. A friend of mine put it best about the blue merle on him: he's not too merle-y. I think the black patches on him, the definition in his spots, and the copper color make him quite striking. He's also quite a personality and a total sweetheart.
