Metachat Fund Drive: As you can probably tell, we're running a fund driver over the next few days to cover the hosting over the next year.

UPDATE: Our fundraising goal has been met! But go ahead and read this if you haven't... →[More:] In the spirit of transparency I thought you'd like to know where the money is going.

The $710 dollars we're asking for splits down in the following way:

Monthly Hosting
$25.00 - Web Hosting at rimuHosting.com (It's more, but that's the
difference between what I was paying and what I am paying now)
$12.50 - Radio Hosting.
$19.38 - Loudcity internet radio Licence.

This works out at $56.88 a month or $682.56 for the next year.

There is also roughly $30.00 of outstanding balance on the previous
months Hosting Fees.

There's also a couple of other things I'd like to add to the whole show.

1) You really don't have to contribute anything if you don't want
to. This should be obvious, but if you don't want to send us money,
then don't do it.

2) Paypal Only. If you haven't got a paypal account then you
can't send us money. I really like taking cheques for nominal amounts
to my bank so they can charge me a £5.00 foreign cheque processing
fee, but this time I'm just not doing it.

3) I'll try and keep the contributed amount total up to date, but
it's not real time. If you sent 20 bucks and the total hasn't gone up,
then that is why.
