DA BEARS [More:]

Good lord. Arizona had them in a big hole. It is absolutely amazing seeing how the Bears have been playing this season. This game isn't over yet, and the Cards have plenty of time left... but man. Arizona is going to be full of shocked and disappointed (rightfully so) fans and players after how the team just fell apart.

Speaking of the Cards, who is going to the World Series? I suspect the Mets will manage it, although I want St Louis to go.
Go Bears and F U Cardinals. /chicagoan

Great game, weretable. I'm the last person* that wants to see the Bears lose to a team like Arizona, but the game itself was just great. I'll post here what I posted elsewhere:

-- Is that, mayhaps, the first time in MNF (or even NFL) history that a team has come back from 20 down to win without scoring an offensive touchdown?

-- Grossman looked, sadly, Gross again...man.

-- Leinart completely looks like a veteran. He impressed me quite a bit, even though Leapin' Larry's sidelined.

-- I'm not sure which was better, watching the Bears come back in such a great fashion, watching Lovie give a manhug to Urlacher, or listening to Theismann alternate between fellating Urlacher and Leinart. Seriously, Joe, it's not shameful to ever say anything negative.

-- Come late in the season, when these games actually matter, I can't wait to hear Joe T and Tony Korn really, *really* get into it. Especially if Korny sits back like a vulture while the meat of the game is going on and then persists on picking at Joe's previous statements during opportune times. That's going to be TV worth listening to.

*Okay, not the last, but down in that bottom 7-6% of people in the States that have never lived in Chicago. I have my reasons.

Sidetopic: Tigers.

For the record, I hate Theismann and Korny. This is why I look forward to the falling out later this season. They won't be together next year.

But hell, at least we have Michelle Tafoya....wait..ah, hell.

Again, reposting from SpoFi's (random lockerroom thread):

Damn. Denny Green seems to have some *cough* baggage from his time in Minnesota.

...awkward...

I have a three-digit SpoFi account but I have never posted there. One of these days.

As a native Arizonan, I am required to make an appearance in this thread to downplay the significance of the game's results and/or make empty threats towards those who support the opposing football squad.

Fuckin' Cardinals.

I know Ikkyu2 will jump on me, but I still think Rackers choked.

How about that? I am still trying to figure out how we got the win!
