Beer! →[More:]3 posts in one day! I'm on a roll!!!

When: Friday 10/20 around 8ish?
Where: Depends...*
Why: Coz i said so, dammit! (well, coz i want to play trivial pursuit and drink lots of beer. I bought a newish version and have no one to play with.)
Who: pdxmechatters...
What say ye?

* i can host if we want a more intimate (wink wink) atmosphere with free booze, but if you'd prefer a more public place, then make sure it's somewhere we can play and be rowdy without being kicked out. (specklet suggested the greater trumps)

Oh i know there's a big mefi/mecha/jessamyn shindig on the 28th, this is just a precursor to that...

See, you're going to expose my secret. The game we played when I was up there (and to be clear, I DID kick ass) was the original, outdated edition. Which I started playing with my family at a very young age. So basically I had all the answers memorized.

But now Ramix has bought a new version. And though I know a bunch of shit, I'm worried that I may go down in flames.

So, Ramix, I need to know: Which version did you buy?

Well, ideally I wouldn't have to move off my couch to play, but practically speaking, I'm unemployed and have access to public transportation AND a functioning car, so anywhere is really OK with me. Bonus points if it's near the MAX, though.

I know, I hate that it's McMenimans. But it's convenient (especially for those of us without cars) and it's got a good waitstaff. Plus it's small and has a big table in the middle for games.
