If you live in a city where "Shortbus" is playing . . . →[More:] . . then you really owe it to yourself to see this film. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. A lot of the hype surrounding this film focuses on the explicit sex scenes, which are definitely there, but not quite the point. The director used sexual imagery to talk about love and loneliness and human connection.
I left the theater with my eyes tearing up and my heart pounding in my chest.
(It ends with a really cool musical number, too.)
