Hi everybody! I'm back online, thanks to a very generous friend. I've got a laptop and internet access!

And I just got a job! A pool buddy mentioned his firm was looking for a designer/drafter/admin support person and I went in for an interview today and was offered the job on the spot. Hot damn! And I'm only working 32 hours a week! Double hot damn!

What else has been going on in Specklet land...?

Oh oh oh, I officially named the sugar gliders! Scout and Dill! Dill and Scout! cmonkey was there when I made it official, which makes him an official sugar glider god father or uncle oe something. It makes him a god uncle, that's what. The gliders are adorable and we're still bonding. I can take one out of the bonding pouch thing and hold him for half a minute or so, whiskers twitching, eyes wide. They are redonkulously cute.

And I just had my first training session for NLP (that's Neuro Linguistic Programming) and it's fascinating and beautiful and fun! In nine months I'll be an official practitioner. And I've decided to complete my training in Reiki (Japanese Ki healing) and start practicing that, as well.

Getting fired was the best thing that could have happened to me, I'm happy! I'm going after what I want! Whee!

The gliders are absurdly cute, it's true. They make a really creepy noise when they're grumpy, too.

The meetup is on October 28th at the Rose & Raindrop at 3pm or something. No excuses for missing it will be accepted. None.

Very cool Specklet. Scout and Dill are awesome names. To Kill a Mockingbird became one of my favorite books when I had to read it in high school. Congratulations on your new job as well.
