It's Elizard's Birthday Today! She's having a monster birthday/Thanksgiving feast all by her lonesome on Galiano Island. Aww. She's also on dial-up and so is on only sporadically, but post birthday wishes here so she can read 'em!

Woo! Thanks, bunnies! *does happy dance*

It's been a splendid day so far. Rose early, had coffee & bailey's on the porch watching the rain and listening to Monk, Coltrane, and Sonny Rollins (bob do-wow). Then the sky cleared and I sat reading in the sun under the apple tree for a while, and occasionally did bits of dinner prep. Now I'm off to have a long soak while looking out at the forest and nursing a glass of decent wine, followed by the biggest one-person dinner evah. I'll toast you all at dinner, and give thanks for such good friends.

On the Subway
