I literally fell asleep during the BSG season premiere.
I only realize this today, watching it for the second time. I missed the whole last 40 minutes!
I'm not complaining... it was okay. Still very real, very character-driven. But it wasn't all that exciting. And it was soooo fucking depressing. There's dark and gritty, and there's just plain dread-inspiring.
I'm very ready for them to get off the planet and go gallavanting around space some more. I could handle some good old fashioned space adventures with no mention of the Cylons for an episode or two.
I fell asleep watching the second half of the England game today. But I missed nothing.
I also recall falling asleep in the movies years and years ago when my then-boyfriend took me to see, I think, Battlestar Galactica, with Lorne Greene in it. It was probably a TV movie in the US, but it had cinema release over here.
I stopped watching after the first few episodes because it seemed rather... light. Now that humanity is being crushed under the foot of Cylon religious fanatics, I'm totally back into it.
