I remember one time I was giving a speech on Palestine. A Zionist Jewish guy in the audience asked some questions and we went at it, but afterwards we very merrily went off for a pint, looking forward to a good chewy argument with a challenging opponent.

Um, did I misread the article? I thought the point of this was to see if the scientists could manipulate the genetic material and then harvest stem cells. To practice for a time when they will have human stem cells to fiddle with. Not to put rabbity stem cells into people.

To answer the "where have I been question," I was banned from Metafilter in, probably, April of this year for "offenses" committed by someone else who, I must assume, hijacked my account. MH doesn't believe me. Even stranger, I can't even figure out what post or posts consistute the offense/es. And I don't see a point in going the sockpuppet route. Well, maybe I will someday, but I'd rather be PP.

These days I hang out a lot of #Tapes//Sippin, which is often a very offensive place, but even more often, very funny.
