Iggy Pop Presents: Best Concert Rider EVAR. I'm still reading it and enjoying.

That line at the beginning: "Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin." I've heard from my UK friends that that line was the opening of a kids' storytelling show that lots of people grew up with. Once you know it's a cultural meme you spot people using it everywhere.

Love it. If I were the venue, I'd try to be all smart-ass and accomodate even the ridiculous requests--like the Bob Hope impersonator.

I was struck by how very simple and reasonable the requests were. Some of the riders that show up there are so ridiculously detailed. All Iggy wants is some good chips and actual cranberry juice.

I associate with a magazine we have here called Private Eye - maybe it's more widely used than that, I dunno. Then again their roadie might be Saxondale.
