Lunchables. Not just for kids, folks. [More:]
I just had the make-your-own-pizza Lunchables, and I must say, it was rather nifty... spreading the sauce on the pizza dough/cracker, sprinkling the shredded mozzarella, laying out the three pepperoni punch-outs on each... quite the delightful process, and a nice change from the usual sandwich. Some come with dessert, too.
ergh. Sorry pips, that does not sound appealing. I'd have an upset stomach for the rest of the day.

So, did you take a photo of your lunch for Photo Friday, young lady??

I like taking those things along when I go cross-country skiing! I usually take the ham&cheese kind, which are totally nummy!

And they come with plenty of packaging!

I'm prety sure that the packaging is both more nutritious and more filling.

Scratch that, I'm positive.

Pips,
I'm sorry but lunchables smell like straight up vomit. If you ever walk into a pre-k classroom where a few kids are cracking the seals on that non-food item you realize why spies carry cyanide pills in a hollow tooth. Blech.

Hi Folks, jeez I ain't seen ya in ages.

well, you could always offer to buy a fellow old married guy and his wife a drink sometime??

ico: I was thinkin' of buyin' another so I could do just that... (didn't think of the camera in my cell phone at lunchtime, gad-durnit...).

And yeah, DW (YAY, DW!!!), the pepperoni was a tad bit "vomity," aromatically speaking, but that's part of its charm, I say. (Aren'tcha dyin' to try those new vomit-flavored jelly beans? Me wonders whose vomit they used for a test model, and what, perchance, they had for supper...).

Nothing beats FERAL SWINE! for lunch, though. (I promise, 'pode, I'll finish my brussel sprouts later, and make a nice green-leaf salad for jon and me...).

I'm crazy at work and at home but sometime soon I will buy you a drink.

I made leg of lamb, braised brussels sprouts and mashed potatos on Sunday and true to my now advancing old age I got 24 hour gout because the lamb was so rich. Jeepers.

Also I'm obsessed with yurts, fly fishing and VW microbuses, which can only mean one thing:

I went from being a young punkrocker to an old ass hippie just like that, snap!

Heh, we went out for a 5 course (amazing) dinner on Saturday night (wedding anniversary) and stopped in at a pharmacy before hitting the bar for some zantac.

It's good to be old.

pips: i just envy people who can eat that stuff without puking now... my delicate insides sometimes wanna make me pay.
