Mine were thrilled. Pips mom was thrilled but her siblings are steamed that we didn't tell them, but they're pains in the butt.

Pfff, you guys did it the smart way. Surrounded by friends, no place cards to worry about, no worrying about who sits with who, or who won't come if he/she is there.
