Project Runway MAJOR Spoiler - don't peek unless you want to see all of the final designers' Fashion Week runway collections. →[More:]
Remember, there are usually three designers picked to be the final three, but in reality, all four of the final four always show at Fashion Week, because of the timing of the show. So my showing the collections of the final four does not necessarily say anything about anything that happened on the Project Runway last night.
Er, wow. I never thought I'd say it, but I actually like Uli's collection best. Although Laura's first one is absolutely stunning.
What happened with Michael? His outfits look more like his not-so-hot last challenge gown and less like his awesome earlier stuff. And what's with the shiny shiny fabric? Not so good!
Well now, dammit, I like Jeffrey's best! And I hate that guy! Like I said in the Mefi thread, he tries to hard to be "cool" and he looks like Chris Parnell with a neck tattoo. In fact, it sucks that Lorne Michael's auf'ed Parnell before he got to do a Jeffrey impression.

I'm really disappointed in Laura's and Michael's collection, especially Michael's. Satin Whore Parade totally nails it...hehe. Laura's is really good, but too much of the same thing. She really knows her black lace and feathers, however, and should try to get a job designing lingerie. Uli's collection is actually pretty nice! But I lurve Jeffrey's. I just generally like Jeffrey, even though he's a bit of an asshole. I'm still rooting for him, even though nicey nicey safey boring Michael will probably win.
OK, I've finally seen the episode, and I'll repeat YAY Uli! I really like her collection. Also, I've grown to like Jeffrey as much as everyone else - he has that LA "prickley pear" outside with a soft chewey center. And when the model grabbed his hand on the runway! And Michael getting all puppy-eyed! And Tim Gunn practically squealing like a schoolgirl!
Fanservice.
Won't be watching next week, though. I hate those stupid Real World inspired "Bring everyone back and rehash the drama" episodes.
I don't watch the show on a regular basis, (or hardly at all) and while I originally liked much of Laura's work, based on these pieces I'd vote for Uli, too. They looked the most "wearable".
