Auburn? →[More:]

My brother has tickets to the Auburn/Arkansas football game a week from Saturday. Before getting sick, I wanted to go but now I am so far behind and still kinda crappy feeling that I am not sure. Plus they moved it to 11:00 a.m. so it would mean having to stay the night Friday in Alabama. Hell, my brother might back out going entirely now because of that. But until then I am trying to decide if I want to try to get my arse to Memphis (where he lives) to go.

So ignoring the game itself, how is the Auburn area? Is it worth the effort to see the place or not? If I had time to go back to Atlanta (not too terribly far from there, IIRC) it would be worthwhile but I know I will not be able to do that.
