I got work! →[More:]Not in my field, but wtf, it'll do me good to do some physical work for a while (housepainting). Plus, I've sworn off offices. Also, it means I'll be house-sitting for my uncle on the island for a month. Wow. From Vegas to a small island. This should be interesting. Maybe I'll even get some writing done.

Thanks! It's on Galiano, pi. My home away from home, sort of. It'll be a pretty quiet month, but that sounds perfect to me. Get the hell outta Dodge, do some work, quiet evenings with my cat and a stack of books, including a book of Spanish short stories I've been meaning to work through. They're hooked into the tubes, though, so I'll still be around here and probably on IRC.
