Open Chatzilla through Firefox (Tools > Chatzilla).
In Chatzilla, open your preferences (Tools > Options).
Under the General tab in preferences, find the Identification section. In the Description field, change the default text (New Now Know How) to anything else.
That'll do it.
Also, there's no idiocy involved on your end. It's all on Slashnet's side.
