I have a hard time believing that this is an air-brushed picture.
I did have my doubts, but apparently this guy is a photorealistic artist with a lot of work under his belt, so I'll buy it. It does look almost too perfect, but maybe he's just that good.
Also, those guys posing in the picture look like skeevy porn stars.
I smell a hoax. To get that level of detail the original would need to be much larger. The picture where they're standing around the image looks suspicious too. Notice there's no texture on the image surface, like it was pasted in.
Fake. The detail is much too perfect-there's only so much you can do with paint, and minute hair strands (ie: neck area, hair part) are just too hard to do as well as this. Plus, why are the "diamond" earrings just a touch out of focus? If this were indeed a painting, with such painstaking detail, why skimp on the diamonds? The close up just looks like a woman with lots of foundation makeup, not a painting.
