Well Shit! I'm just sitting here bawling like a baby. I was channel surfing and happened across the Crocodile Hunter's memorial service on Animal Planet.

I never knew how much i liked the guy till he died.

Goddammit! What a baby!

The first time I flipped past "Animal Planet" after his death, his show was on. It felt weird to see him, and so sad, seeing the enthusiasm he had for his career and his life. I hope his death was fast and painless. He really was a good guy.

I never liked him per se -- the over-the-top, anachronistic Aussie character rubbed me the wrong way -- but he did a lot of good stuff and the way he died was just unfair in the way that some deaths are. I think that's a lot of it.

If he'd died in a car accident people wouldn't be reacting this way.
