Willie Nelson Busted for weed and shrooms. How sad :(

How sad? How so?

He and his band got misdemenor citations for 1 1/2 pounds of weed. If that had been anyone else, you can bet the idea that it was community weed wouldn't fly and they'd all be locked up until at least one of them went down for felony charges. He basically got off scot-free.

You just can't teach an old dog new tricks like sobriety...

Also, I agree with court siem, it's not sad! The cops probably thought the same thing most of would - what's the point in locking up a bunch of old stoners?

Yeah, he got off easy enough, sounds like. "Busted" doesn't really apply. More like "pulled over and ticketed."

I love Willie. He could be arrested for screwing his neighbors' goats, and I'd find a way to defend him.
