If anyone should feel sad about that farce, it should (IMO) be Crunchland. I don't think you came off badly at all. In fact, even though I only know him from reading MeFi, I'm sure Sarge would happily buy you a beer if you were to show up at the next Embra meetup. (Assuming he showed up himself of course).

I don't want to restart the discussion here, but I think it's just a cultural difference. Sarge didn't want to put "NSFW" on an art post because he doesn't want to buy into the whole "OMG, wardrobe malfunctions are corrupting our youth" puritanism that's afflicting the USA right now. Unfortunately, most MeFites have to live and work in the US.

The irony is that I was confronted by a definitely NSFW image at work which some idiot posted in Sarge's "state of Scottish football" thread. That got me wishing I was signed up just so I could say more or less what you said, except about someone else. Nothing is ever simple, is it?

So, how was the make-up sex anyway?

Here's my take: you (scrump) started out pretty mellow, but once the thread started to go your way, you started biting pretty hard on sarge. I totally agree with your original point, btw, and I I agree with GeckoDundee about sarge's behavior. But as the thread went on, you seemed to go a little too far.

So that would make you the humping guy in the above gif.
