Oh good. I didn't want to say anything, but I heard there was a shooting at a college in Canada, and having no idea where she lives or what college she goes to, I just wanted to make sure she's OK.

Funny you should mention that death. And I'm sure this will reinforce that odd notion that everyone in Canada knows everyone else but the death was a relative of mine.
