One of my favorite sequence puzzles: 1, 3, 7, 12, 18, 26, 35, 45, ... what comes next? Yes, you can find the answer on the web, but that's no fun. Also, yes, I'm aware that sequence puzzles don't have unique solutions.
Give me more good ones, too.

I know what it is, but only because of Godel Escher Bach...

How about this one:

1 4 9 7 7 9 4 1

56, but then, suprise!, 69. (No, I didn't check the web, and no, I haven't seen this one before.)

specklet, since it's a palindrome, I'm going with

1 4 9 7 7 9 4 1 4 9 7 7 9 4 1

1 3 6 4 4 6 3 2 5 3 5 6 2 4 ?

Well, I have one way of looking at Specklet's that would say the next number is 9 and then the sequence repeats starting from the first 1 again.

Here's another one of my all time favorites which I recently re-discovered in a whole new context:

1, 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, 3, 1, 2, 2, 3, 2, 3, 3, 4, 1, ... ?
