More Shamless Boating! I also want to boast in a sham-free manner.
→[More:] I sent my Mom this email today and felt like sharing my happiness with you lot, too (edited a bit for tense, etc):
These days are almost magical with our two little girls. Ev is sparkling so much you can almost see it. I want to grab her and hug her ALL the time, but of course, she'll only tolerate that once in a while. and barely then. Sophie is becoming such a great kid, not a little one anymore. She's so kind to Ev almost all the time (just enough jerkiness to make me rest assured that she is real) and Ev dotes on Soph. It's all Jen and I can do to just sit back and watch them sometimes.
Oh, I don't think I remembered to tell you, but we setup one of the single beds for Soph. I installed the rainbow canopy I bought for her at IKEA and she is thrilled. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we ended up with two beds in there soon. Ev was quite enchanted. Sophie is referring to it as her "SK bed", and hasn't left it yet in the middle of the night.
I wish I had some more current pics at flickr to refer everyone to, but you'll have to settle for a couple of sort of recent ones. We've been too busy loving life to photograph it, it seems.
