Hey, seanyboy... I'm getting parsing errors... I'd mentioned this before, and I think Specklet was having a similar problem.[More:]
I was making a post in this thread, which is why it's broken up into two comments. So, here's the error message...

Cannot post comment, please correct these errors:

* Parser error: Undeclared entity warning near few) or the letters

[Back to comment editing]

and here's the offending text...

and if you wanted any screenshots of the animals (birds, fish, lions, and peacocks, to name a few) or the letters, let me know.

I'd tried changing the parenthesis to a dash and then just put in some hard returns and got the same error every time. Then I had an idea. I'd originally spelled Joan Miro with an acute "o", using the special character code: & oacute ; (without the spaces, of course). I took that out and it worked. Funny though that the preview worked, but the posting didn't...
I'll say that the last time a parsing error came up for me, I'm pretty sure I didn't use the code for any special characters.
Hope that this helps in figuring out what's up with MeCha. :)

Hey - Eat it suckas::::

Zack, The errors with the crashing and the entities are NOT related.
Using the "& oacute ;" entity in HTML isn't compatable with XHTML Strict, and that is what the error message was trying to tell you. The site was designed not to allow you to enter these characters. If you can believe that.

I've added some code to convert the old entities to the new entity format (which is "&" followed by a number followed by a ";") and hopefully all should be well.

Well, apart from the slowdowns, and the crashing and the bounced emails and the radio and the myriad other little things.

(...would've replied to this sooner, but pages were taking too long to refresh)

Wow. Bizarre. I've used the ISO codes before with no warning message... wonder why it decided to get all huffy about it now? And to put the warning about the wrong area? Hmmm. Kick it for me, wouldya?
And thanks for clearing that up, too. :)
