I AM STILL IN THE OFFICE AND I AM COVERED WITH TONER! →[More:]IN FACT THE WHOLE OFFICE IS MORE OR LESS COVERED WITH TONER NOW, YET STILL THE MACHINE ASKS FOR MORE TONER! I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO CHANGE THE FUCKING TONER AND I SPILLED IT ALL OVER EVERYTHING! HELP ME! IT'S 6:15 ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AND I'M IN TONER HELL!

I HATE it when that happens, I once had a virtual explosion of four different colour toners (damn you Xerox 2135s!) from a window blowing open while I had the printer open. Kept the custodians busy vacuuming for several hours but it all washed out of my white shirt. Just keep your clothes cool, heat will set the wax.

Toner is carbon black in a wax carrier occasionally with adulterants like iron oxide or silica. (Typical MSDS [PDF]).

Not really a poison, the hazard is the carbon black is ground very fine and like all fine dusts can cause lung overloading and with chronic exposure lung damage. A single exposure is unlikely to raise your risk above the background exposure from particulate air pollution. Carbon black is also a suspected carcinogen.
