I can't figure out what is worse:
1) That some people apparently don't know water is 2/3rds hydrogen
3) That the Waterfront Development Corp.'s executive director was depending on this lack of knowledge to scare people away from the fountains
3) Or that he apparently had no problem lieing to his customers about the health risks of his fountains

Why don't they just say "Water contains bacteria"? People know what bacteria are (like E. Coli). They would stay out.

Reminds me of Lewis Black's comment about how we could solve the energy crisis if only we could "harness the power of IDIOT".
