New thing I learned today: There exists an official Star Wars story in which Darth Vader's glove surives the explosion of the death star and gets sucked through a wormhole to another world.
I have to admit, I haven't explored the depths of Star Wars arcana before now. Its detail -- and incredible cheesiness in naming systems -- is a little frightening.
I used to be really into star wars - stories, encyclopedias, statuettes, comics, magazines, the works. Then they made the latest 3 movies and I just couldn't go on anymore. It was like George Lucas just took a shit on my childhood. Now I have everything in miscellaneous boxes around the house. I guess I should sell it.
Nope. I was born after the original movies came out and grew up seeing them as classics. I loved them. Then I ended up delving into the whole story, before and after the movies, all the characters, stories, everything. Then I grew up, and they made the next 3 movies. That pretty much cancelled out everything I thought about the series. Naive? Oh yeah. Meant alot to me though.
Man, when I see it written out like that it sounds really sad.
