I saw a flamethrowing car this weekend. Also, a bunch of cool bands (jonmc, I recorded this one with you in mind), a ton of sweet cars, rollergirls in a dunk tank, and some good bad movies.

It's always my favorite weekend of the year, Atlanta's Drive-Invasion. The rest of my pics from the day are here (plus pics from last year here).

On that first link, YouTube has the sound and video slightly out of sync, but you'll notice about halfway in that I almost dropped my camera when that car blasted us with The Mother Of All Backfires.

Holy Smokes, I didn't realise Southern Culture on The Skids played as well. Damn, I had a crush on that girl for ages about 10 years ago when they had there only breakthrough song.

Thanks, funmonkey! Yeah, it was a total blast, as always. And SCoTS absolutely rocked the house. (The crowd was big enough by then that I was pretty far from the stage, and none of my pics of 'em came out worth a damn.)

SCOTS fucking rule, I saw them in Hoboken about 9 years ago with Cub & the Muffs and they were all amzing. and that RFTT video rocks my world. You da man, BoPo.
