A night (timezone dependent) with Steven Jesse Bernstein in transcription: Come Out Tonight, More Noise Please (which also became the name of an EMP exhibit) , Morning In The Sub-Basement Of Hell and Art or Anarchy?; in memoriam: his son's tribute page to him, and the musings of a friend. I'm sorry I can't upload any of the recordings themselves. :(
Wow, I'm bookmarking this... I was a fan of SJB in the 90s (along with many of my friends) but I never knew much about him. Excellent, excellent post, safetyfork.

Here's a few relevant tracks from the Prison CD:

No No Man (Pt. One)

Morning In The Sub-Basement Of Hell

More Noise Please

He was a year younger than I am now when he killed himself, but damn, he lived a LOT in those forty years. I sure wish he'd stuck around. :(

Also, this track, which is probably the core of the album:

Face

Hilarious and tragic, at the same time.

Thanks for the audio support, BoPo! He was great. I first heard him on the Sub Pop 2000 compilation.
