Cool pic! The trolleys haven't changed much in appearance. Anybody know if they're running again since Katrina? The last time I was in New Orleans (in 2000) the trolleys were how I got around. Bumpy, unair-conditioned, and often full of schoolkids coming home from school, they were still a really cool way to ride.

I think most are up, though a few stretches (I think) might be opening in 2007. They were actually expanding them before katrina, not sure about those plans.

And no one in new orleans calls them trolleys, only tourist. They're street cars.

"A Trolley Named Desire" doesn't have quite the same ring to it, does it?
