The internets are boring me! Fix it?→[More:]What sites do you spend a lot of time reading? Fun stuff, interesting stuff, things that you get wrapped up in and lose track of time? Lately I'm stuck in a mefi/boingboing/made loop.

I like weather.com... it helps me sleep... ESPECIALLY since I no longer live in Hurricane-Hell (a.k.a. Florida).
Going outside is good, too... there's actually real life out there... birds & bees & trees & shit... stuff that continues to exist even if there's a power outage or system crash... and you can smoke if you want...

To clarify - I do understand about the outdoors, social engagements, nature, shopping, going for walks, enjoying the outside world, etc. I am stuck indoors because I am ill. And I've been suckered into going in to work tomorrow (with no pay), so I guess the point is moot now.

I love Neatorama too.

I also like Look At This, even though the blogger is a Newcastle United fan. He often posts some great free music links as well as lots of links along the same theme.
