Spectacular, shane! Thank you very much. The art was absolutely delightfull, and the story very appropriate, as I'm in bed with my laptop, reading this just before I go to sleep.
Well, I have a cheap ($20 - $30) but thick hardcover, not the $120 Nemo special, but I think the art is fairly good, especially considering the originals are 100 years old.
If anyone is interested, I was thinking about posting these Sunday Comics once-a-week. Of course anyone is free to chime in with other comics, or the lore of Winsor McKay, etc.
And no, I won't be posting any Little Ego, heh, as I don't have a copy and it's still copyrighted and in circulation. But it's charming, whimsical, beatifully drawn, and totally lacking in the misogyny of, say, Milo Manara.
