AskMeCha: Shopping Question. →[More:]I'm a baseball fan, and a history buff, and a tchotcke collector. So naturally this ballcap caught my eye and I'll probably order it on payday. (background). I need to find more hats/jerseys etc, in the same vein (defunct and/or non-major league teams in any sport). I've found a few places online, but I wouldnt mind a brick and mortar place to look through and try stuff on. Anyone know one in NYC's five boroughs?

I don't have the answer you seek, but I bet you might also be interested in this site, which has Negro League and Cuban League historic logowear. Some of these are awesome.

I poked around at Amazon. They didn't have much vintage stuff, but a lotta great minor league stuff that I added to my wishlist. (hint, hint)
