You decide.

I say 1 is a prime number (at least, my quantum game theorist friend has convinced me it is) so, NO DEVIL FOR YOU!

But.... specklet... the definition of a prime number is that it has exactly two distinct divisors, 1 and itself.

I should have said "part of the definition of a prime number..."

You know, I was going to type up a long explanation of why 1 is generally not regarded as prime and why that's a good idea in math, and why it wasn't always so, and why it might be so for physics, but I've just got the strongest impression that I'm already fucking boring enough without making an effort at it.

Let's Ask Dr. Math!

I don't care what stinky Dr. Math says. In quantum game theory, 1 is a prime.

Neener.

Anything can be a prime if the definition of a prime in your field says it is so!

I'm not arguing with you, specklet, darling... just sayin'. It's all just words.
