Bunny! OMG! My friend Jess found a giantic stone bunny last weekend on Mt. Hood!
One day someone will inadvertently utter the magic spell and it'll come to life.

A gneiss bunny which really rocks ...

I hope that with the discovery of the bunny, this doesn't turn out to be one of those New Hampshirish situations where people get all excited about it and turn it into an icon and put it on their state's quarter and then if falls off the side of the mountain.

Mudpuppie, LOL'd. As a kid, driving to my grandparents' home in Maine, we'd come around a bend and see a rock profile, much smaller than the New Hampshire one, of course. And yeah, I was quite disappointed when the nose cracked off.

Because of the rather squat shape of this formation and the fact that it's oriented on a relatively horizontal surface, I expect Oregon's Old Bunny of the Mountain will be around for quite a while.

There's always earthquakes, Pi.

I'm not sure why I'm now so invested in seeing the bunny crumble. I think I'm just being ornery (or, for specklet, ornry) becuase you're so convinced it's not going to happen.

Eh. Maybe I'm just hungry.
