I've always wanted to do this, since my toddler days really, and now it's a fait accompli. With a few drinks from Bull's and a little encouragement from jon, I'm the proud sporter of a rather spiffy brow-bell. Can't wait to show mom!

Eeee. Good for you. I had my first (and so far only) tattoo done a couple of years ago and have never regretted it. In my line of work, anything other than ear piercings would be frowned upon, sadly.

Luckily, we live in New York, ej. After I started wearing earrings, only a handful of people at work commented. A few asked 'Did you always have those?' and the rest just said they looked good on me.

Thanks guys! It was fun... I am curious to see my principal's reaction in the fall, but what the heck, I'm tenured. (No "dress code" for teachers here... it's nice to have a union.) I think my students will be impressed.

Wow. Piercing is something that is completely alien to me -- I don't even have pierced ears -- so it's always fascinating in a "huh, look at that" kind of way. Looks good Pips!

I've had piercings throughout my life. Nose, eyebrow, belly button (when I was thinner:) ) For some reason, I've only kept my ear piercings. I don't know why. Probably the same reason that all bar one of my tattoos have only been seen by people I've gotten naked with.

Tattoo's next on the agenda. Still haven't decided where to put it, though. Some place that won't sag so much as I get older. : )

(I'm a little behind the curve, alas, with a first brow piercing and tattoo at 40; next week, bungee jumping!)
