Looks like you had quite the time. From the thumbnail I thought that Cracker Jack prize was one of those religous funeral cards, which would be an even crappier prize than what it turned out to be.

I'm not really a sports fan, but for me one of the greatest joys in life is being in a ball park watching a baseball game and having a brat or two and a few beers. I've been going to White Sox games since I was a little kid and I've had as much fun during the the crappy years (which were plentiful) and last year. OK, maybe last year was a bit more fun. But it still doesn't make me want to watch a game on TV. It's the ballpark or nothing.

I'd love to see a game at Shea Stadium some day. That just strikes me as a REAL baseball stadium. And not just because it doesn't have a corporate name...yet.

You have a real baseball stadium in town, Wrigley Field. I am a Mets fan, but I would take Wrigley over Shea any day.

However, Shea has more Cow Bell.

yeah caddis - Wrigley is quite the field. Maybe I long for Shea becasue it's not what I have available (the grass is greener syndrome) or maybe just because I've seen it so many times in footage of the Beatles.
