A nice summer morning in a kayak →[More:]Wife and I paddled up and down Coyote Creek, which is actually an extention of Fern Ridge Reservoir, and would be a very trickly creek but for a dam a few miles away.

But very pretty, in a "jungle cruise" way.

Looks wonderful. And very timely, as I am lusting for a kayak right now. What should I buy? I'll be using it for calm streams and small ponds in Missouri. Can I get away with a cheapie like this?
